Artist Statement

Artmaking is an integral part of who I am.

I have lived in the Australian bush for a long time. The rugged, unforgiving nature and overwhelming beauty of the bush environment inspires me to create art every day.

I'm an artist who is not confined to working in one medium. I draw, paint, print, and make but not always in a conventional way.

Whilst my processes are underpinned by planning, my drawings, paintings, prints, stitchings, felts and designs are intuitive and evolve organically during the process.
